Volunteers from the Northern District of the United States Attorney’s Office came to our school on Friday, April 3rd to celebrate with some of our 4th graders for High-Five Fridays. The purpose of this event is to reward students for their attendance, academic performance, and behavior. Research proves that offering students small incentives makes learning fun and motivates students to push themselves. Rewards give students a sense of accomplishment and encourage them to work with a goal in mind.
The experince was extremely rewarding. You can tell that the students truely take pride in their acchompishments. On the left you can see a picture from the event.
